Some of our previous projects include:
Christchurch City Council - Infrastructure Rebuild
Since the September 2010 earthquake our Pipelines division has been sub-contracted by Fletcher Construction, Downer Construction, McDow New Zealand, Fulton Hogan and City Care.
We have installed and tested new storm water lines, sewer lines and water mains throughout the city centre and surrounding suburbs, pipe sizes have ranged from 12mm to 600mm using both Butt and EF welding.
These projects have involved our team working long hours during the day and night and often in difficult circumstances.
Delta Utility Services Ltd - Selwyn Sewage Scheme
This is the first stage of a new sewage treatment scheme being developed as a priority to service a number of townships south of Christchurch. These townships have been identified as an integral part of the overall “Greater Christchurch Urban Growth Strategy” requirement for land following the Christchurch earthquakes.
Working in conjunction with Delta Utility Services, the Pipetec team are providing butt welding expertise on over 8 kilometres of 500mm HDPE sewer pipeline running between Lincoln and Rolleston.
Christchurch International Airport Ltd - Artesian Water Stages 2 to 4
As sub-contractor to Calcon Ltd we installed a reticulation system to allow ground water to be used as an environmentally friendly cooling and heating agent for the new airport terminal air conditioning system. The installation comprised of a 650m network of pipes to connect artesian wells to the new terminal and to a new discharge soak pit.
The project had to be completed whilst retaining the full functionality of the heavily used car parks and road network.
This project was completed on time and was included in the 2009 Canterbury Contractor of the Year Award.
